30 Finalists Announced for 2nd Generation The National Authority for Alternative Dispute Resolution

Phnom Penh, December 26, 2024 — The National Authority for Alternative Dispute Resolution announced the results of its competitive examination to select the next generation of dispute resolution officers. The oral examinations were conducted by a committee chaired by Mr. Koeut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice.

The interview process was carried out smoothly, fairly, and transparently. Prior to the interviews, all candidates underwent thorough checks and were prohibited from bringing any documents, telephones, or other communication devices. A lottery system was employed to determine the order in which the candidates were interviewed, maintaining fairness throughout the process.

To uphold the principle of anonymity, the identities, ID numbers, and interview order of candidates were not disclosed during the sessions.

Out of the initial pool of 60 candidates, 30 finalists were selected based on their performance in the interviews. Notably, the group includes seven women, along with six reserve candidates, of whom four are women.

The immediate announcement of the results following the interviews marks a significant milestone in the selection process for these vital roles in dispute resolution.
